Does Crispdown upload my files anywhere?
No. Rendering, export, and license activation happen locally on your computer. Crispdown does not upload your Markdown, file names, or telemetry. If a document references an external image, the browser may request that image from its original host. There is no account and no usage tracking. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
What's free and what's Pro?
The viewer is free forever: beautiful rendering, syntax-highlighted code, tables, task lists, KaTeX math, Mermaid diagrams, table of contents, and light/dark themes.
Pro ($14.99, one-time payment) adds one-click export to Word (.docx), polished PDF with cover and header/footer templates, long-image export, plus all themes and custom CSS. A separate launch offer is not active until its real end condition is shown on 592059.xyz.
HTML export is always free. You get 3 clean Pro-format exports (Word, PDF or PNG) to try the Pro features first. After that, those exports keep working with a small footer credit — nothing ever locks or expires.
Is this a subscription?
No. Pay once. Use v3 forever. Your license includes all v3 updates and security fixes, forever. If a major v4 ever ships, upgrading is optional — and 50% off for existing customers. If you never upgrade, everything you paid for keeps working.
How do I activate Pro after buying?
Right after payment, your license key is shown on the success page and also emailed to you. Then:
- Click the Crispdown icon in your Chrome toolbar
- Open Settings → "Enter license key"
- Paste the key and click Activate
Takes about 30 seconds, entirely on your computer. Use the exact email you entered at checkout — including any +tag.
Can I use my license on more than one computer?
Yes. Your key works on up to 5 personal devices you use (see the license terms). There's nothing to deactivate when you switch machines: just paste the same key and email again on the new one.
I paid but didn't get my license key.
First: your key was shown on the payment success page, and a backup copy was emailed to you. Check spam/promotions, and drag it to your inbox so you never lose it. Can't find it? Search 'crispdown' in your inbox.
Still nothing? Have it resent to your purchase email — it takes a minute. And if it still hasn't arrived after 5 minutes, email support@592059.xyz with your payment receipt.
I switched to a new computer — do I need a new key?
No. The same key and the same email work on the new machine. Lost the key? Get it resent anytime. If you also changed your email address, contact support@592059.xyz with your order number and I'll reissue the license to the new address.

What exactly does the Word (.docx) export support?
Headings, paragraphs, bold/italic/links, lists (including nested), tables, blockquotes and alert blocks, code blocks, and images. Math formulas and Mermaid diagrams are embedded as crisp images so they open correctly in Microsoft Word, WPS, and Google Docs.
Anything exotic that can't be mapped degrades gracefully to plain text — your export never fails halfway. If a document of yours exports badly, send it to me and I'll treat it as a bug.
